Reactions and Reviews

[Metaphors]: I've loved everything Ann has written, but this tale is something very special. Told from Jim's point of view, it relates Jim's and Blair's experiences as they struggle painfully with Jim's malfunctioning senses. Ann writes with a breathtakingly poetical style and holds the reader spellbound. If this story doesn't move you to tears, nothing in TS fanfic will! [1]

[series]: A wonderfully, beautifully, touchingly written series of stories, heavy on character and definitely heavy on smarm/warm fuzzies. A gorgeous interpretation of the friendship and brotherhood between Jim and Blair. One of my most favorite series and truly "pinnacle" writing. Sadly, the author's page went down and she elected to leave it down, thus removing the possibilty for others to read and experience these stories, or at the very least let those who *had* read them save them for future reading. A great loss. I keep hoping that someday she will change her mind, if only for a little while.[2]
