Moonflower is a digital zine celebrating BaroRyuu, a ship for the characters Barok van Zieks and Naruhodou Ryuunosuke from The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
About
The zine was teased to be coming soon on August 29, 2022, with the tagline "🌘🌷 soon, the moonflowers will bloom 💫"[1]. In a post put up later on Septemebr 10th, the zine was described to be a non-profit, pay-what-you-want, and digital zine for BaroRyuu, with the theme of "night"[2].
Contributors to the zine were chosen on an invite-only basis because the organizers were new to modding zines and wanted to keep the project manageable[3]. As the days went by up until release, the organizers announced the participating contributors and posted previews of contributor pieces.
The zine was released on itch.io on February 14, 2023, for free with a bonus desktop wallpaper.
