cover

Summary from a distributor, Agent With Style: "When the Goa'uld find a way to hide a secret, deadly weapon inside the minds of innocent SGC members and their allies, the only way to save the planet is to sort through everyone's nightmares. For Dr. Daniel Jackson, there are things hidden away in his dreams that could do more than destroy the world - they could destroy his life. His feelings for Jack are more than just brotherly, but in his nightmares, Jack scathingly rejects him. And when that secret is forced to the surface, he decides to take extreme measures to set things right. Daniel's simple act of heroism leads him on a painful journey of trust and leads Colonel Jack O'Neill on a journey of self-discovery that will change the course of their future forever. Will Daniel's nightmare become reality - or will love win out over all?"

Reactions and Reviews

To start off you are an excellent writer. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story. This is one of those gems that I sat down, and couldn't stop reading until I was done. It was a sad moment when I realized it was over, and longed for more - but it was a lovely ending none the less. You managed to keep Jack and Daniel in perfect character the whole time and made their adventures completely believable. I'm off to read more of your fiction and I can't wait to read more SG1 (especially J/D!) fics from you! [1]

Just finished reading this. Awesome work yet again. You really kept me hanging there, and not just once. I adore how you add in humour at just the right time. This was such a beautiful story, as much as I love seemingly aimless slash I love real romance-based stories even more. Personally I tend to steer off track when I write and forget about that real spark that real love gets, and as lame as it sounds you've reminded me to keep that in mind when I write. So thanks. Loved the ending by the way! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for your work. [2]

Ah, I found this one on Area 52 and LOVED it. Excellent job! Daniel's marching off on a suicide mission to save the one he loved was spot-on, and Jack's determination to bring him back safely was perfect. Good Hurt, Beautiful Comfort. [3]

You know, it's hard for me to buy that "Mother Hen" O'Neill would leave functionally blind Daniel by himself. I mean if Jack really couldn't put away his emotional conflicts long enough to care for Daniel (and let's face it, Jack's the king of emotional repression) he wouldn't have agreed to have him stay over, then welsh out on him. I mean Daniel could have stayed at Sam's, or Teal'c could have stayed with Daniel. [4]

Very well written, so far. Usually I'm not fond of Jack/Daniel pairings as they're inevitably out of character. However you're doing very well maintaining them realistically. Great story. Keep it up. [5]

This is so COOL! It's probably the most original story idea I've read in a long time, and the most creative (either that or you read and watch things I don't). It's a really awesome story. I have absolutely no complaints. [6]

Wow, I've never really thought of this pairing before but now I'm a convert! Great fanfiction-well written, realistic, and best of all, I could actually see this almost as a Stargate plot (except for the romance of course...) I'm so happy how everything makes sense and flows together so well...it isn't just a bunch of saccharine romance angsting, but has an actual plot with just the right amount of poignancy and romance. If there's one thing I'd like to see more of though it's more "hot" moments...[7]
