Mikros was a science fiction fanzine edited by T. Bruce Yerke and Russ Hodgkins. It printed at least one early story by Ray Bradbury. The magazine was extremely small, running about 2-4 pages.[1]
About
Mikros published three issues in 1938, another three in 1939, and a final seventh issue in 1941. Thomas Hinmon wrote to Voice of the Imagi-Nation in September 1939,
Please send me another copy of 'Scientifaction' and a copy of 'Voice of Imagination.' You can thank 4SJ for this. He initiated me into the mysteries of what he calls 'Mikros' tho I can't find that name on the pub at all.VOM issue 3, page 8 (September 1939)
An issue of Mikros was published that month, but there wouldn't be any more until its last issue in 1941. However, Jack Speer wrote in the same issue of VOM, "Have already writ TubbYerke re Mikros. Name for the little smidgets is excellent."
Reviews
"Mikros" is a catch-all for the Los Angelenos and has- among other things carried stimulating articles on the subject of Technocracy. As with the LASFL Pubs. all it is neat and attractive in appearance,Robert A. W. Lowndes in Scientifan issue 2 page 6 (January 1940)
