Mentalis is a club newsletter for "Western Australia." It is a Doctor Who zine.

There were twenty-five issues, as well as two annuals, three mini-posters, and three special issues.

From an ad in Hypertension #7: "Each issue has a little bit of everything: news, information, reviews, opinion, merchandise and competitions. In addition, there are regular 'guest articles' and special columns by Mentalis correspondents in the U.K. and U.S.A."

A fan comments: "I was 'Sub-Editor' on this for a couple of years...Still have the issues lying around somewhere as well as the 'fabled' Mentalis Annual #1 which I got to edit...Also vividly recall the Mentalis 'Folding' Parties where Tim got us all around to his Nedlands flat to fold all the copies of the latest issue as he prepared to slip them into the post...

The first is of "Davros." The second is of the "Ichtaa - the last of the Silurian triad." The third is of "The Gravis - leader of the Tractators." Stephen McArthur did the art work and Tim Richards did the layout.
