Reactions and Reviews

This was simply a wonderful story. Full of depth and very well written for a first story. It delt with the subject matter beautifully and very well-done, not rushed. Wonderful done and I truly enjoyed reading every line. I hope to see more from this author. [1]

I really enjoyed this story. It was well written and I think the topic was handled very well. [2]

"Mending Fences" is such an emotionally powerful story and a very good story for a first time writer. I expect her work to just improve exponentially as she continues to write. [3]

Wow. This has got to be one of the best PicardCrusher stories I have read in a long, long time. Hard to believe this story was the authors first attempt. The charactors were written beautifully and very true to the series.I almost passed on reading it due to the nonconsensual sex issues, I will have to say that I am very glad I decieded to give it a go. While the subject matter deals with the rape of a main charactor, the story really deals with the recovery from that rape. The emotions and actions by the charactor are very realistic and one can't help but wonder how much of the author comes to light in Beverly's actions. While reading this story, I felt everything that Beverly did, the fear, the loss of control, the self pity.. I actually cried while reading, something I haven't done reading a PicardCrusher story in a very long time. I still can not believe this was the authors first attempt at fanfiction. I seriously hope that she has more stories in the works because I, for one, would love to read more! [4]

An absolute wonderful read. Sandi has amazed me with this first attempt at writing. It is so well done it seems like this story is more from an experienced writer rather than a first timer. The characters are true to form, and the detailed descriptions in the story make you feel like your actually in the story itself. The story also grabbed me emotionally. This story is by far one of the best I've read in a long time. I can't wait to read more from Sandi! [5]
