Memoirs is a zine made in dedication to D.Gray-man.

Overview

Memoirs is a fanmade zine dedicated to the D.Gray-Man series. Over the years many of its readers have come and gone, and come again, and with this book, we're celebrating the good times and great memories this series has brought us.

This zine depicts both protagonists, antagonists, and other minor characters of the series and various scenarios can also be found in each illustration; some focusing on more dark, complex scenes and others on the crew's more lighthearted daily lives.

The zine was announced with an applications form on August 13, 2018. Applications closed on September 15th with a reported total of over 250 entries. Acceptance and rejection emails were sent three days after applications closed.

Preorders opened on May 5, 2019, with the options to buy the zine as a digital PDF, in print, or in different bundles. A stretch goal of an enamel pin was unlockable at 125 orders, which was accomplished by May 16th. At the same time as preorders opening, a giveaway for a free zine or bundle was run. Preorders ended by June 24, 2019.

Orders began shipping around October 23, 2019. The PDF version of the zine was sent out on October 24, 2019. Leftovers were open on Etsy starting on March 7, 2020. The shop was closed on March 28, 2020, then reopened on April 13th until all items sold out.
