... about Spock's visit with his mother's family, which includes a young female cousin, Kathleen. She is recently widowed and is losing herself in the past via a memory machine which has captured moments with her husband. Who but Our Hero should come to the rescue? This is not, however, a lay-Spock story; rather it is a 'Help Kathleen' tale.[2]
