Marathon Map Makers Guild is a fanworks archive for the first person shooter video game, Marathon. The Guild had 15 members[4] and the associated mailing list had 82 members.
The site was first launched in March 1997, on www.marathon.org. This site crashed Christmas Day, 1998, requiring a rebuild which took several months. The site then bounced from host to host: http://mmmg.bungie.org, xmission.com, egroups.com, www.seagull.net and finally macguild.org. The last update was in 2008 per the latest Wayback capture.
Yahoo Group description:
The MMMG provides a forum for all those interested in building new worlds based upon the Bungie Marathon action game series.[5].
