Two alternate-world Saint Seiya novels, presented back-to-back. "Maelstrom Seed" is a complex alternative to the Olympus storyline, speculating on how events might have occurred if the five main Bronze Saints had trained under different teachers. (Seiya/Cygunus, Hyoga/Andromeda, Ryu/Phoenix, etc.) "Wild Card" is a high-spirited romp along a different path through the Norse storyline.
