MosCon was an annual science-fiction/speculative fiction convention in Moscow, Idaho. Some of the founding members of the convention were Victoria Mitchell[1] and Jon Gustafson.[2]

MosCon is noted as "the first SF convention to feature both an author and an artist guest of honor, the first to have a scientist guest of honor, and the first to pay writers and artists for their contributions to its souvenir program book."[3]

The first MosCon took place September 29-October 1, 1979.[4][5]
