What about Wintershock as a pairing appeals to you?

Basically, all of it. I love these characters and from the first moment I read them paired up, I’ve been hooked.

I mean, have you seen them? They’re so soft and pretty. I just want to smoosh them together and write about it.

They’re like two ships passing in the night and neither one’s exactly sure how the hell they ended up there. It’s probably the last place they expected to wind up but once they get close enough to each other, they realize that they’re right where they’re supposed to be.

They’d have such great chemistry and I can picture them having so much fun together.

How did you first encounter the pairing?

I was watching an episode of Bojack Horseman and it mentioned ‘Dr Who erotic fanfiction.’ I’d read my share of erotica over the years but somehow it had never occurred to me that people would write sexy stories about pre-existing fictional characters…

I quickly found an Archive of Our Own and started digging around. The Dr Who stuff wasn’t my bag but I’m pretty sure it’s how I found @leftennant and @anniemar.

They were also writing Wintershock and once I found it, I felt compelled to start writing too.
