Excerpts
What about the Wintershockpairing appeals to you?
The fact that nothing is canon and there isn’t even a smidgen chance of anything everbeing canon, which- for me- makes everything canon. I love reading about all the scenarios of how they could have met, how they fall in and out of love, etc. Everybody has free reign over their relationship, and that makes this ship fun and exciting.
What medium/program do you use to create your art (i.e. oil on canvas, ink on paper, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)?
I use an editing program called the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It’s similar to Adobe Photoshop, with an extra perk: it’s free.
What inspires you to create your Wintershock art? Songs, fics, other art works, a specific image, or something else?
It’s a bit of everything. I read a fic and want to make a cover for it. I listen to a song repeatedly and feel like slapping some layers together. I see a picture of Kat that I think would look awesome with Sebastian leaning against her back, so I play around until I find something that looks semi-okay. The “creation process” is always different.
