Lys was a talented Due South fan writer and fan artist. She contributed artwork to many archives and mailing lists. She passed in July 2005 and a Livejournal community was set up in her memory: remembering-lys. A year later family and friends established a memorial website for some of her fan fiction and fan art, A Rose For Lys.
