From an ad in Datazine #41: "Tired of the usual post-Gauda Prime stories? This time, Avon hides his dark side, and lets himself become the man he'd always kept under lock and key. But is it really Avon?"

Reactions and Reviews
This is a meaty and well-constructed Blake's 7 novella - one you can get your teeth into even if you are a vegetarian! An after-Blake story, Leigh takes us aboard the Lone Star with her beautiful and capable captain, Morgan Drew, and her recently acquired crew member, Den Shevronm who has an uncanny resemblance to Avon and who has just escaped from the Federation's mind probes. It is a rollicking good adventure with the various crew members being interesting in their own right (my favourite was Tash). We are also given insight into theman who is Den Shevron - whever he may be (even Den isn't sure after those mind probes). Old friends and enemies reappear, which is nice. [1]
