Some Excerpts

I have to admit the first time I saw and ad for Lois and Clark I wasn't impressed, in fact I groaned. I felt someone was just trying to cash in on the whole "Death of Superman" crazes that had gone on the year before. To compound the matter my best friend was getting married and since I was the maid of honor I had no time to pay attention to any of the new shows that season. In fact the night the Lois and Clark premier came on I was at my friend's house watching her try on different bridal things. I distinctly remember flipping the channel seeing Dean Cain and not being impressed. Of course I look back on it now and laugh hysterically. It wasn't till a few weeks or months later I can't remember, that while waiting my turn to get into the bathroom I saw another snip of Lois and Clark. My dad was watching it and was trying to convince me what he was seeing was a really cute show. I sat down and waited, not really paying attention. Then I heard "...I want to kiss Clark good bye." I looked up only mildly interested. I mean really she wants to kiss the guy good bye how typical. Then she says, "I'll take the one on the left." A fist fight shortly erupts then ends. Only to have Lois thrown out of the plane, okay well that looked fun. Then something totally unexpected (at least to me) happens, Clark throws himself out of the plane. For whatever reasons it just hit me the right way and I was hooked, from then on I never missed a show.

Nfic? Here is another sticky one... I like them only some of the time. It really depends on the author's ability to describe the actually sexual encounter. There are some phrases and actions that seemed to become standard fair, and I just have to sit back and wonder if some body just cut and pasted. I love a well told sex scene where the author can convey the beauty and or the passion of the moment and still not make it seem as if I'm reading a gynecological report. And if there is a really cool story in there, well that's jut a perk.

Round Robin? I personally tend to become impatient with round robins because of all the different styles of writing that get put into it. And everyone has their own idea of where the story should go. That is my general opinion however, The Round Robin's of later have been exceptionally entertaining and I'm happy to see my favorite one has been nominated, The Tai.
