The introduction:
This member of the boards occasionally posts feedback to stories in progress, but getting a long, detailed email from her is an even bigger pleasure. She knows how to encourage authors to write more, and she's one of those readers who, even though rather discreet in public, doesn't hesitate to drop you an enthusiastic mail of encouragement in private.
Some Excerpts
How long have you been a FoLC? Since the French equivalent of ninth grade, so it's been six years. But I discovered the fandom after the show got off the air, so it's been four or five years.
Do you remember what your first thoughts were about the concept of fanfiction? At first I found it very weird to write stories about a show that was already off the air, so I had a hard time getting into it. But after I read TUFS, and Season 5 and 6, I realised that fanfic was a way to keep the magic of the show alive and to keep in touch with characters you love. Because in fact, the show never ceased to exist since it was first created.
What type of stories do you most enjoy reading, and why? I generally prefer thrillers, but it depends on the story's context. I like everything that deals with Luthor, and also alternate beginnings.
