Some Excerpts
I have certain rules for my fics--hurting the main characters is a no-no. Emotional distress is fine, as long as everything gets fixed. One of my personal pet peeves are stories that the main plot is Lois and Clark fighting. It's kind of boring, IMHO. I like stories that are more like the show and have them working *together* for a common cause. Hurt/comfort is okay--A Shot in the Dark being a prime example of a well-executed one. I like writing stories that have a definite basis in reality... Well, as close to reality as you can get when writing about a man who wears his underwear on the outside of his pants and flies. ;) I want to be able to get lost in the universe of the story. I'm also not too fond of lots of introspection; it puts me to sleep. I want to be able to laugh and cry when I'm reading, too. I think that my stories reflect that. I try and make it a fun ride, while sometimes confronting serious issues.
Why, telling more stories about some of my favorite characters. The last episode of the series stunk because it was a cliffhanger. I always wanted to know what-happened-next, so fanfic gives us fans a chance to continue the saga.
