Some Excerpts

I love Lois and Clark.. they are the only characters that seem to hold my interest... I fell in love with the characters... I became hooked on fanfic and thought, "Gee, I'd like to try that." When I got a good response, I continued.

Comic relief is necessary... I recently read a story based on a bad spring in Clark's mattress... I laughed till my sides hurt... it was wonderful. In a really intense drama, humor is the release valve... it keeps the story readable.

Julie Mack is my hero. She makes my evenings with her vignettes. I love the more intense nfic's too... I feel that nfic is a natural extention of fanfic. I don't see it as dirty or perverse... I see it as an additional forum in which to develop the characters. I admire Sheila's ability to write her stories in both versions, and I respect Peace's decision to not always do so... it depends on the story. Some stories are not meant for nfic (such as my One Night Alone... it would have defied the canon of the series), and some are there soley for the purpose of sexual exploration (such as my FC Touch Football)...what is tolerated in the story should be based on what you want to accomplish, what character development needs to take place, and what mood you want the story to have. Some nfic is just sensationalism... it develops nothing, and often takes L&C out of their character... that I don't like. But, that's just me.
