Some Excerpts
So far, I've written [stories] set in the past; The Exodus is a story about Kryptonians being native to a planet with a yellow sun like Earth and moving to Krypton to suppress their powers. The second in the series is about Jor-El and Lara preparing to send Kal-El to Earth and I have a third planned which you'll have to read to find out what it's about, after I get it written ;). Also, I've written an alternate ending to Sex, Lies, and Videotape where Superman revealed to the world he was Clark Kent. I also am working on a rewrite of Double Jeopardy and Seconds where Clark identifies himself as Kent and Wanda goes off with him.
I like the fact that Clark Kent was very human and easy to relate to, unlike the more godlike ones out there. I'm a romantic sap so the romance of the series was great. I've always liked Superman because he had so much power and rather then let it corrupt him and use it only for personal gain he uses it to help others. I like that Lois is a strong, independent, intelligent woman too.
Action is good, but a long all-action fic probably wouldn't hold my attention I like a mix of things, especially with romance.
