Lloyd Garmadon is the main character of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is the son of Lord Garmadon, one of the main villains of the series, and the nephew of Master Wu, the mentor to the ninja; and, he is the grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master, who created all of Ninjago. Lloyd is the Green Ninja, leader of the ninjas and the object of a prophecy stating that he will defeat the Dark Lord.
Lloyd starts out as a bratty kid looking to follow in his father's villainous footsteps, but is soon taken in by the ninja and revealed as the prophesied Green Ninja. He soon finds his place on the team and rises to meet his destiny, securing his place as the leader of the ninja. Throughout most of the series, Lloyd is characterized as a serious, strategically-minded leader with a core of kindness who brings the ninja together. However, he also has a tendency to be kidnapped or otherwise separated from the other ninja, and tends to be put through the wringer with each new season.
