Lion Lilies is a non-profit zine dedicated to Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney games. The theme of the zine is the character explored in his role as a parental figure and mentor to the younger characters in the game series.

About

Lion Lilies is an unofficial Dadworth Zine exploring Miles Edgeworth and his parental relationship with the younger characters from Ace Attorney. Other older characters can be featured, but should not be the focus of the piece. 

This is a safe for work zine, and no explicit content will be allowed. Light cursing and canon typical violence are allowed. If unsure, ask a mod!

This is a non-profit zine. The goal is for all contributors (who wish) to receive a digital and physical copy of the zine. All other profits beyond the printing and shipping fees will be donated to a charity that will be determined in an upcoming poll.

Interest checks began on June 30, 2021. After polls closed on August 1, 2021, the project released the results of the interest check, reporting a total of 259 responses. From a poll to select the zine's charity running from August 3 to September 15, 2021, the project decided to donate all proceeds to the Raphael House of Portland.

Applications opened on August 1, 2021 and were originally scheduled to close on Setpember 1, 2021. The deadline was pushed to September 15, 2021. In an anonymous question asked in late September, the mod team reported that they received 51 writer applications, 39 merch artist applications, and 156 page artist applications. From these submissions, the mods chose 10 writers, 32 page artists, and 3 merch artists with some page artists also participating as merch artists.

Preorders opened on January 15, 2022, with the following pricing tiers:

• Prosecutor's Badge ($24 USD) - Physical Zine, Random Die-cut Sticker, Mini Print
• Logic Chess ($30 USD) - Physical Zine, Die-cut Stickers, Print, Mini Print
• Investigations Pack ($48 USD) - Physical Zine, Edgeworth Manjuu, Sticker Sheet (Buyer choice), Die-cut Stickers, Polaroid Charm, Print, Mini Print
• Triumphant Return ~Miles Dadworth~ ($56 USD) - Physical Zine, Edgeworth Manjuu, Kay Mini Manjuu, Sticker Sheets, Die-cut Stickers, Polaroid Charm, Print, Mini Print

Buyers could add the digital bundle to physical orders for $8 USD or buy digital items individually. The first 50 physical orders received an early bird bonus of a refridgerator magnet. Stretch goals included a die-cut sticker at 75 orders, a gold upgrade to the die-cut sticker at 125 orders, an acrylic standee at 175 orders, and a Sebastian-themed manjuu plush to higher tier bundles at 225 orders. Additional stretch goals added later included a die-cut magnet at 325 orders and a gold enamel pin at 250 orders. The project added an additional bonus pin of Edgeworth lying facedown to all physical orders made before March 25, 2022.

A giveway was organized from January 27 to February 12, 2022, for a Proseuctor's Badge Zine bundle. After preorders hitting the stretch goal and the social media account's preorders post hitting enough retweets, the prize was progressively upgraded to a full bundle. The deadline for preorders was originally March 1, but preorders were later extended to April 2, 2022 add more stretch goals.

Shipping began on September 24, 2022. Digital materials were sent out on October 4, 2022. Leftover sales ran from December 1 to December 22, 2022, with discounts.

On December 29, 2022, the project closed with a donation announcement of $7,415.97 USD to the Raphael House of Portland.
