Limbus Company is a Gacha Game developed by Project Moon and released on February 27th, 2022. The gameplay uses Turn-Based Combat, while story is conveyed in a visual novel format.
The game follows after the events of Library of Ruina and Leviathan, following the employees of the Limbus Company Bus, or LCB for short, as they attempt to collect the "Golden Boughs," powerful artifacts with large stores of energy that can be used to perform great feats. The story is divided into Cantos and Intervallos, Cantos being main story events usually centering on attempting to retrieve the next Golden Bough and intervallos being shorter side stories that often lead into the next Canto or explore other aspects of the setting. Each of the thirteen protagonists is based on a classic literary work, and twelve of them have been or have confirmed as the focus of one of the game's Cantos.
