Summary
From the publisher:
Blair, Daryl, Rafe and Megan are kidnapped and experimented on by a psychotic scientist from Jim's past, but then are suddenly let go. Why? And why are they suddenly in foul moods when talking to their best friends? Why would Daryl attempt suicide? Do the scientist's former experiments into mind control have anything to do with it? Those are the questions that haunt Jim as he struggles to find his way through a labyrinth of dead-end clues and taunting notes from a madman who could possibly expose Jim's secret abilities to the world.
