Lee Ji-young is a philosophy professor at Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea and a prominent aca-fan in the ARMY (BTS) fandom. She has spoken and written about BTS in academic journals, newspaper columns, articles, interviews, TV appearances, lectures, and books with her research in what she calls "BTSology."
