Leafa/Lisbeth, sometimes referred to as SuguLis, is a fanon pairing between Kirigaya Suguha "Leafa" and Shinozaki Rika "Lisbeth" from the series Sword Art Online.
Interactions In Canon
In the movie Sword Art Online: Extra Edition, there is a scene where Suguha is being taught how to swim by a few of her friends. She enters the pool wearing a floatation ring, which Rika teases her for. Rika then remarks Suguha doesn't need a floatation device and jokingly feels Suguha's breasts. She is chastised by their friend Asuna and the scene is played off as joking fanservice.
Throughout the episodes King of the Giants and Excalibur, season 2 episodes 16 and 17, the girls are shown standing next to each other on multiple occasions. In House in the Forest, season 2 episode 18, they sit and lay on a couch together while studying together, Later in the same episode, their friend Silica says that Lisbeth and Leafa fought the character Zekken together, though this is never shown on screen.
In the movie Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, there is a brief scene in which Rika is video calling Suguha on her tablet while their friends are singing karaoke. At the end of the movie, there is also a scene where they sit next to each other and Suguha gives Rika a marshmallow.
In volume 26 of the light novel series, the illustration on the back of the volume featured chibi versions of Lisbeth and Leafa. They seem to be enjoying some kind of soup or potion and there are pink love hearts between them. This is currently the only official illustration of the pair.
Popularity In Fandom
Leafa/Lisbeth is a relatively rare pair, with fanworks only semi-frequently appearing since 2020. These fanworks mainly consist of oneshot fanfictions and the pair featuring as a side pairing in other fanfictions of different pairs.
