Laws of Attraction: a WrightWorthZine is a non-profit, for charity zine project focused on the relationship between the characters Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney video game franchise.

About

This PG-13/SFW zine will focus on the relationship between Ace Attorney’s Phoenix Wright/Ryūichi Naruhodō and Miles Edgeworth/Reiji Mitsurugi (Wrightworth or Narumitsu). There is no single theme or single game that this zine will be specific to—all versions of Wrightworth are welcome![1]

Interest checks ran from February 23, 2021 to March 15, 2021. Applications for mods ran form March 11, 2021 to March 31, 2021. Contributor applications ran from April 9, 2021 to May 9, 2021.

Preorders opened on October 31, 2021 with the following pricing tiers:

  • Lifelong Rivals ($15 USD) - Digital Zine PDF
  • Love-Hate Relationship ($25 USD) - Physical Zine
  • Unnecessary Feelings ($35 USD) - Physical zine, 2 pinback buttons, 3 mini art prints, 1 sticker sheet
  • Dear and Indispensable ($50 USD) - Physical zine, 2 pinback buttons, 3 mini art prints, 1 sticker sheet, 2 acrylic charms, 1 roll of washi tape
  • Partners ($70 USD) - Physical zine, 2 pinback buttons, 3 mini art prints, 1 sticker sheet, 2 acrylic charms, 1 roll of washi tape, 1 set of linking acrylic charms, 1 set of linking hard enamel pins

Fans could purchase a digital PDF version of the zine as an add-on to physical purchases. A giveaway for a free copy of the full Partners bundle was conducted from October 31, 2021 to November 7, 2021, with the Twitter user galeovallis announced as the winner[2].

Shipping for orders began in mid-spring of 2022 and leftovers were opened in June 3, 2022 to June 17, 2022, with significant delays for Russian and Hong Kong addresses due to shipping restrictions[3].

On September 24, 2022, the project's social media account announced that they donated $14,762.84 earned from the project to Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund. [4]
