Ladies' Big Bang was a female-centric panfanwork big bang challenge.

Ladies' Big Bang is a female-centric multimedia big bang challenge that welcomes all types of creators, including but not limited to: artists (3D, 2D and sequential), crafters, graphics creators, iconners, picspammers, screencappers, reccers, resource list creators, primer/promo creators, reviewers, meta writers, poets, script/screenplay writers, fiction writers, audioficcers, fanmixers, singers, and vidders. We also welcome original work in all of the above categories.

In other words, ALL types of creators can sign up to create a big bang entry, not just fiction writers.

For the purposes of this challenge a woman is someone who self-identifies as a woman/as female or someone for whom femaleness/womanness is a component of their identity. This of course includes characters who are trans, intersex or genderqueer. Agender characters whose bodies are perceived as female are also welcome.[1]

Round 1 ran from June to October 2010. 29 projects.
Round 1.5 ran from ? to December 2010. 6 projects.
Round 2 ran from June to November 2011. 24 projects.
