KirkLovesSpockFic was a Yahoo! Groups mailing list for K/S fanfiction.
History
In 1999, PEJA had started a smaller mailing list [than ASCEM], KirkLovesSpockFic. Says she of the decision to do so, “I like my fics to come to me, not have to go search the net, so having a list in the fandoms I want to read tends to feed the need.” But initially and somewhat ironically, by group consensus it served much more as a vehicle for K/S discussion, information and critique—albeit rich, lively, and insightful—than for new K/S stories. Later on, the dynamics changed, and fiction was posted there, but generally in addition to the multi-fandom sites, not instead of. In 2006, the KirkLovesSpockFic group was summarily deleted by Yahoo, and a replacement Yahoo group, KirkLovesSpock was formed (actually it was formed a few months before the deletion due to some other administrative problems) but so far has not recaptured the energy and activity the discussions had in the early days.
