Keeping the Dream Alive was a Beauty and the Beast (TV) convention that was held in 2017. It had the subtitle: "Celebrating 30 Years of BatB Fandom."
It was chaired by JoAnn Baca and Chesapeake Helpers Society.
It appears there were no official guests of honor.
The charity selected was Just In Time for Foster Kids.
Part of a Series
This con was part of an organized series of annual national Beauty and the Beast fan gatherings held in North America.
The "Siesta Fiesta" Connection
CHSBB is happy to announce that the previously scheduled Siesta Fiesta, the informal gathering of fan friends to be held in San Diego in July, is now “Keeping the Dream Alive,” the official 2017 Beauty and the Beast convention! [The name “Siesta Fiesta” has been retired, and we anticipate holding a different informal gathering of fans elsewhere sometime after July 2017 and before the 2018 con.]
After consulting with fans who had anticipated coming to the informal gathering, this convention will be more casual, less structured, and provide an opportunity for just “hanging out” with old and new friends.[1]
