Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Zine 2017 is a digital zine featuring fanart and fanfiction for the manga and anime series Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
About
The zine was announced on August 22, 2017[1]. Applications ran began on the same day and closed on August 23, 2017[2]. Applications were reopened briefly on August 24 to allow more nine more applicants to add to the existing 41 contributors[3].
Rules for the zine were outlined on August 24th, explaining that the zine would be free and digital only. All applicants would receive the zine through email and the zine would also be released on Twitter. A Discord chat would be organized for running the zine and would be moderated[4]. Submission guidelines posted on the same day also detailed that each applicant would be assigned a character to draw for the zine and that the zine would be general and not shippy[5].
Applications reopened again on October 9, 2017, to fill for five contributors who dropped out of the project[6]. Applications closed for good on October 12th. The deadline for submissions was extended on November 4, 2017[7]. The zine was released through Google Drive on December 10, 2017[8].
