Kamp Kahn was originally started by The Great Broads of the Galaxy as a get together just for their group. In 1983 they invited other fan friends to join them at a small church camp in Oklahoma (United States) during the fall “off” season.
In the early years Kamp hosted up to 58 invited Star Trek fan friends from the surrounding states and the Midwest. With exception of 1985 & 2020 (pandemic) Kamp has happened every fall. As evident by the name, Star Trek is the primary fandom that started Kamp Kahn and throughout the years the group’s interests have diversified to other fandoms.
With age has come the inevitable decline in number of attendees and as of this writing, Kamp Kahn 2022 is in progress.
