Jumunji is a fantasy styled film, starring Robin Williams, released in 1995. It was based on a screenplay, which was in turn based on a 1981 book, both of the same name.
The film tells the story of a young man, Alan (played by Williams) transported into a board game in 1969, only released from the game 26 years later when siblings Judy and Peter find and play the game.
There have been other adaptations and additions to the Jumanji franchise over the years, including an animated series shortly after the first film's release, and the current duology of films starring Dwayne Johnson.
