Jimmy Brooks was a character on Degrassi: The Next Generation from seasons 1 to 8. He is the subject of one of Degrassi's most memorable plotlines, the season 4 two part episode "Time Stands Still," where the storyline of Rick Murray ended in a school shooting and Jimmy losing use of his legs.[1] This confined Jimmy to a wheelchair for his remaining three seasons on the show, although he eventually regained the use of his legs after an experimental surgery. Jimmy is also notable for being played by Drake prior to his career in music.
