Jetko is the smushname for the romantic pairing of two characters from Avatar: the Last Airbender, Jet (AtLA) and Zuko.
Canon
Jet and Zuko meet on the ferry to Ba Sing Se. Jet initially tries to recruit Zuko to his group, seeing him as a kindred spirit. However, he turns on Zuko and Iroh when he catches the latter firebending to heat his tea, going so far as to stalk the uncle-nephew pair as they settle into city life and eventually attacking them at their workplace.
Fanon
Jetko came about because of the Enemies to Lovers trope, or Enemyslash. In some ways, it can be seen as using their similarities to complement/highlight their differences: both of them are angry young men who have lost a lot, who are skilled fighters who are (in Zuko's case, initially) nationalistic. However, while Zuko's character arc is about him growing past his anger and violence and recognizing that he has been on the wrong path, Jet's trajectory is of someone who can't give up on his revenge and violence and who self-destructs because of it. Many Jetko fics seek to change the events of canon by using their relationship to inspire change in Jet, though others explore a darker, less positive outcome where Jet retains his hatred for Fire Nation people and blackmails Zuko into a sexual relationship. One particular author on DeviantArt tended to blend the two, with Jet initially raping Zuko in a fit of lust and/or madness only to apologize and earn Zuko's love. These fics also involved Zuko becoming pregnant with Jet's child.
Most Jetko fic are set during the Ba Sing Se arc, when both of them are in the city at the same time, Zuko lying low and Jet ostensibly turning over a new leaf. In closer-to-canon depictions of their relationship, the sword fight when Jet attacks Iroh and Zuko at the teashop gets a lot of focus.
