Jem and the Holograms or just Jem was an American cartoon series that ran during the mid-1980s. It followed the adventures of Jerrica Benton, her rock star alter-ego Jem, and her band the Holograms. It was based on a doll line created by Hasbro. In recent years there was been renewed interest in the line, partly thanks to nostalgia. In 2015, a comic book and a live action movie were released.
