Jack Gaughan was a professional artist who also contributed many B & W drawings to fanzines. After his untimely death at age 55, The New England Science Fiction Association created the Jack Gaughan Award for Best Emerging Artist. "Outermost: The Art and Life of Jack Gaughan" by Luis Ortiz is a compilation of Jack's work.
