It's No Fun Being Adult If You Can't Be Childish Sometimes is a gen Doctor Who humor zine.

"How true! If you're a loyal follower of the Fourth Doctor, this is YOUR zine!. This is 36-page fanzine is 'a fanzine dedicated to Tom Baker, the only Doctor worth the time,' as reads the dedication on page one. Despite being written and compiled by only one person, Leatha Ann Betts, this zine manages to offer a wide variety of ingredients. Art is the prominent feature in this zine, and with good reason. This is some of the best art I've seen of the Fourth Doctor. However, I have never seen art so poorly placed among stories! Also, in a few cases, potentially wonderful art is ruined by being poorly reproduced. There are only three stories, and each is VERY short. They are 'Odd Thursday,' a routine story that threatens to bore the reader, but is written well enough to entertain the reader instead. 'Home' is a rather interesting continuation of 'The Invasion of Time,' but suffers from being FAR too short. 'Wrinkle' is an intriguing story which delves into the depths of the Doctor's early life, but alas, is a victim of continuity problems... not only with the show, but with it's own self!!! The final ingredients include a dash of poetry and a pinch of filksongs, all of which are delightful. And now we come to the major problem of this zine. APPEARANCE! Remember all those typing mistakes you been correcting since you were born? Well, this is where they all go. INFBAIYCBCS is TYPO HEAVEN!! In addition, the art, which is poorly placed to begin with, has inches of white space surrounding it! ONE THIRD OF THE ZINE IS BLANK SPACE!!!!!! Don't get me wrong... the content is fine! It's the presentation of it that's the problem! I strongly recommend that you buy this zine if you like a zine for its contents, but if you want a slick appearance, keep searching! Note: $1 from each issue is given to Tom Baker's favorite charity." [1]
