Iskofxvsmatchmakingstillbroken.com, Is KOF Matchmaking Still Broken when typed out, is a website for The King of Fighters fandom created in 2022 by rxdazn. The website's purpose was to serve as an informational hub for fans' negative reactions to The King of Fighters XV's initially broken matchmaking system.

The game launched with a broken matchmaking system on February 17th, 2022, and only with an update released on August 8th, 2023 was the matchmaking system considered stable and completely usable. Before August 2023, some players experienced matchmaking lobbies taking thirty minutes, and often longer, to secure matches with other players, an unacceptable amount of time for a newly-released video game with a healthy amount of users. During this time, SNK seemingly ignored the issue by releasing DLC fighters as intended despite some fans not being able to secure online matches. More information is available on the website itself and serves as a useful archive for information.

The website was frequently cited on Steam reviews for the game, warning potential buyers not to buy the game until the issue was fixed. As of December 2023, the website is still online, now saying the issue was resolved in August.

hey, I got tired of waiting for a matchmaking fix so I made this website that informs you of how long it has gone unfixed for.

it clearly describes what is going on as well as answers some common questions and dispels a few myths here and there.

please help spread the word, and don't hesitate to point people to it when they question whether or not the matchmaking really is broken.

KOF XV has been around for over an year, and matchmaking remains broken. When I first tried to play pubs and spent around an hour searching for people just a couple of days after the official release, I started asking myself whether people had already stopped playing it or if they bought it on consoles. But this time, it turns out it has nothing to do with the player base or platform (since it happens across all of them). It's up to SNK to find out what's going on and do something about it - that is, if it's not already too late.

I did enjoy the game, even though I'm not an enthusiast of the fighting genre. But being locked out of features with no fix in sight is frustrating, and it's killing what could've been a healthy player base.[2]
