Reactions and Reviews
"Interjunction" was a little upsetting, as until then Sebastian appeared to be setting up as a really good A/V writer. [1]
The one where Sebastian thinks they could be happy together! 'Interjunction' is worth reading just for that, but it's also worth reading for some stunningly accurate and beautifully phrased descriptions of what's going on in Blake and Avon's minds.[2]
Improbable but sweet. B & A are locked up in a room together, knowing they will be released in a week but with absolutely nothing to do in the meantime. After fighting for a couple of days, they more or less dare each other to try sex, out of sheer boredom. By the time they are rescued they have managed to fall madly in love. A nutty idea, but I liked it anyway.[3]
Interjunction (A/B) - Sebastian: The "fluffy dice" story, as M.Fae insists on calling it. Blake and Avon locked up together, start off fighting, dare each other into sex out of boredom, and end up madly in love. I know it sounds daft, but it's nice! Again, a work from Sebastian's short "optimistic" period.[4]
I certainly took to Sebastian's style of writing. He certainly knows how to build an atmosphere. 'Interjunction' was engrossing. I've always liked stories with good dialogue. [5]
