Reactions and Reviews

For those of you not yet familiar with Dawn's writing, shame on you! No, seriously, that was a joke. :-P Dawn has this 'thing' for causing our favorite anthropology student plenty of angst, thus the title for her webpage. And she does such a *good* job of it too! (Bowing towards the writer, singing "I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy." <G>)

Now, first off let me say that I found the episode of TSbyBS to be very good, and chock full of angst all by it's self. I mean, I know that I was crying through several scenes, and I just know that some of you were too. So, how do you improve upon the angst of the episode? Well, for starters, you let Dawn watch the episode until her vcr tape is just about worn out, let her sleep on it, get finals out of the way -- then have her muses give her writers block on the story that she's currently working on. And viola! "In the Fell Clutches of Circumstance" comes to life!

WARNING: Tissue Alert, Major Angst Watch, Smarm Zone ahead!

Dawn's latest offering upon the alter of The Sentinel is a winner! But then, I've come to expect no less from her. She manages to blend in scenes from the actual episode, adding in her own touches, and then runs with it. Remember how once upon a time, Blair Sandburg said he gets a thrill out of the roller coaster life that he's gotten involved in when he hooked up with Jim? Well, that roller coaster may have been, in the long run, a little too much after all for the graduate student. I've only read the story one time through, scanned it fast the second time through, then came here to review. But, if I recall correctly, there is a hell of a ride in the story that pops up right after the closing scene from the episode. One that puts everything into perspective, and will scare you just as badly as it scared James "Jim" Ellison.

Interested? Good. Now, be a good SenFan and pop on over to Dawn's webpage and give this and all her other stories a read. Oh, and watch out for that "preview" that she's got up there. Don't read it! Unless you're a very *patient* person and can put up with what may be a very long delay.

Dawn, that last part was a heavy hint for you to get cracking on finishing that story. I'm a patient person, but my preserverance is running a little thin. <BG> Just kidding! Take your time, I know that you work for the "perfect" story and you do good work!

So, with that, I'm out of here!

What?!? You're still here? Why aren't you over at Dawn's site gobbling up her fan fiction? [1]
