Admit it. You've dreamed up this scene a hundred times. As the meeting of Holmes and Watson is to Sherlockians everywhere, so is the partnering of Illya with Napoleon a defining episode for us in the U.N.C.L.E. universe, but one which our creators, unlike Sir Arthur, did not see fit to provide. Kate D. handles her genesis of U.N.C.L.E.'s finest team with appropriate first-season flair. It's canonical for the most part, with a sweet but not treacly denouement. Not a bad place to start your File 40 reading.[1]
