In Darkness I Will Reach You is the second of Soriku anthology zines made by sorikuzine, following We'll Go Together.

About

At the end of We'll Go Together, on September 1, 2018, the project's social media account thanked followers for supporting "volume one of soriku zine", hinting that there would be more to come. On September 26, 2018, a recording was posted of a computer screen labeling a folder "SORIKU ZINE VOL. 1" before dragging a new folder named "SORIKU ZINE VOL. 2" into view.

On December 7, 2018, sorikuzine posted a lineup of artists who accepted invitations to participate in what would be the second volume of the project's Soriku zines. The zine's title was teased on March 12, 2019.

Preorders opened from June 23 to July 20, 2019, with the following pricing tiers:

• Digital Zine ($10 USD)
• Hearts in Tune ($25 USD) - Physical Zine
• Eternal Session ($45 USD) - Physical Zine, Enamel Pins, Sticker Sheet, Charms, Washi Tape

The Eternal Session bundle was limited to only 300 copies and sold out by June 29, 2019. As thanks, the Hearts in Tune bundle was updated to include a set of translucent cards.

Digital copies were sent out on August 19, 2019. Shipping of physical orders began approximately a week after an update was made on August 11, 2019.

The digital zine returned in stock on August 20 ahead of leftover sales. Physcial copies of the zine were also sold at the 2019 Crunchyroll Expo. Leftover sales ran from September 24 to September 26, 2019. A merch only bundle called Oblivion was added to listings, and the Hearts in Tune bundle now included a sticker sheet and acrylic charm. The project closed on September 30, 2019.
