front cover of the first (and possibly only) issue
cover of the included supplement

This issue includes the 15-page supplement: Et Cetera (Etc.)

The editorial:

What happens when a group of friends get together and one of them says, "Wouldn't it be a good idea if.......? What you are reading now is the culmination of these get-togethers. People with ideas tryingt o reach out to others.

It was hard. The writing re-writing, typings, re-typing, drawing -—-- well you get the picture. But whether we found ourselves working together, or alone, we enjoyed it. We sincerely hope that you get the same pleasure out of reading Hyperllght and its supplement Etc. as we did in writing it.

But we have no way of knowing what you liked or disliked in this issue. What should we have more of? Less of? Only you, the reader, can tell us. This is your magazine,, Please mail us your opinions, comments, etc.

In Star Trek 9: James Blish writes, "Idealism lasts, if you love it.... Be of good cheer. We're not alone, no matter how often we think we are."

So until we meet again, Happiness and Peace!
