Hyakinthos

This story is set within the Queer As Folk universe, using the characters from that TV series; but it harks back to Renault-verse as the characters discuss various books by Renault. A statue of Hyakinthos evokes discussion of the scenes during the seige of Athens when Alexias poses for a sculptor who produces a Hyakinthos in the prone position (unusual for that period). Relationships within Queer As Folk (Brian/Justin, Michael/Ben), the erastes/eromenos ideal, and characters’ motivations are revealed as the discussion progresses.
