A Dealer (also "Huckster" and "Huxster") is an individual or company that sells fannish goods at conventions.
A dealer may be a single fan selling fan-made crafts and other items. A dealer may also be a professional outfit selling mass merchandise that may appeal to fans.
Some fans in older fandoms used the term "huckster" interchangeably with "dealer." The word huckster has its roots in science fiction fandom, where it is used non-pejoratively to designate dealers in science fiction-related books, magazines and paraphernalia.
