Well, I wrote this one, so I certainly can't comment on it objectively. :) If you were on this list (or rather, the Space City list) for the '99 Labor Day party, you've already seen it, anyway.[1]
There's nothing wrong with this fic at all. The sex is nicely written, and the character beats are as I would hope they would be. But it's no real offence to the author (one hopes) to say she's written much better since (this was her first B/A). It doesn't make me feel very much (apart from 'oh, this is quite nice') is the problem, whereas many of her others are fantastic and really intense.[2]
