Honor & Dreams is a zine focused on the character Zack Fair from the Final Fantasy VII game franchise.

About

The project was announced on social media on September 13, 2021. The project would be for-profit and all contributions would be safe for work and [Gen|would not feature ships]. Interest checks ran from September 26 to October 10, 2021. The project reported over 100 responses. Applications for contributors were accepted from November 7 to December 5, 2021. Results were sent out on December 12, 2021, with a reported total of 95 applications submitted.

Preorders opened on May 7, 2022, with the following pricing tiers:

• Country Boy ($15 USD) - Digital Zine, Printable Coloring Pages, Social Media Icons, Emojis
• Backwater Export ($25 USD) - Physical Zine
• SOLDIER ($35 USD) - Physical Zine, Die-cut Stickers, Bookmark, Miniprint, Sticker Sheet
• 1st Class ($45 USD) - Physical Zine, Die-cut Stickers, Bookmark, Miniprint, Sticker Sheet, Acrylic Charm, Washi Tape, Buttons, Magnet
• Hero ($55 USD) - Physical Zine, Die-cut Stickers, Bookmark, Miniprint, Sticker Sheet, Acrylic Charm, Washi Tape, Buttons, Magnet, Acrylic Standee, Enamel Pin, Digital Bundle

The "Hero" bundle was limited to 100 copies. A giveaway for one of these bundles was run from May 26 to June 6, 2022. The winner of this giveaway was Twitter user Silver_Kyuubi. Preorders were expected to end June 5, but was extended to June 19, 2022.

Orders were shipped out on October 15, 2022, while digital zines were sent out on October 29, 2022.

Leftover sales ran from November 13 to December 18, 2022. The project was closed on December 22, 2022, once leftover sales were shipped out.
