Hhfic was a Yahoo group that had moderated membership, with 633 members at its close. The group's peak period was in 1999-2005. While posting diminished steadily afterward, when it was active it had as many as 1790 messages a month. The group was tied to the hhfic website which was being updated as late as 2018.
Description
This is a list for those who want to read and write fan fiction based on A&E's version of C.S. Forester's classic Horatio Hornblower series. Stories, poems, humor, parodies, songs, and other creative endeavors are all welcome! The only request is no 'slash' or explicitly smutty stuff, please.
