Henrietta "Hetty" Lange is a supporting character in the television show NCIS: Los Angeles.
Canon
Henrietta "Hetty" Lange is the Operations Manager for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service's Office of Special Projects in Los Angeles, California as well as the supervisor for their backroom support team. She worked with G. Callen's late mother and later adopted him, and also serves as a mentor-type figure for the rest of the team. Prior to joining NCIS, she was a CIA officer who worked in a variety of high-sensitivity undercover roles internationally and in the United States. [1]
